Constanza Causa
Coni has been with Canyonz for three seasons and comes from Chile, she has strong canyoning skills and is a talented guide. Coni is a real team player. She has been a mountain guide, cycle guide and has guided in New Zealand, Costa Rica and Chile.
Javier Ugas
Javier has been with Canyonz for three seasons and comes from Chile. Javier is a talented canyoning guide with great skills. He is a real people person and has a love for the great outdoors. He has also got experience in horse trek guiding in the Andes (South America) and has been involved with tourism for many years in Chile, Costa Rica and New Zealand.
Peter Harrison
Peter has been guiding for five seasons with Canyonz. Peter is one of the original Canyonz guides and has helped see it through from the beginning, even though his real job is design and engineering.
With a many years experience hiking in and around NZ Peter knows what he is talking about. With a fun sense of humour Pete always runs a good trip.
Neil Foxcroft
Neil has been running Canyonz for the last five years.
With a history of mostly cave guiding Neil has been able to apply what he learnt underground to the canyoning world.
Always getting up to something Neil loves being in the tourism industry.
CANYONZ
Our guides are qualified in outdoor first aid, and follow a very thorough risk management policy. They are also expert at specialist canyoning rescue techniques and emergency procedures. We are proud of our ethics and of our safety standards. CANYONZ is the founder of the New Zealand Canyoning Forum, where canyoning operators around the country can discuss issues of safety, training and environment protection, and other related topics. The CANYONZ motto is plain simple: “safe and fun”.
CANYONZ is registered with the Department of Conservation and Auckland Regional Parks, and supports their conservation efforts. Therefore, a percentage of our income goes towards the protection of our unique environment.
Canyonz is also a Qualmark endorsed activity.
